Reducing Portables

Every day, more than 2,500 students are learning in out-dated portables that can’t even support today’s modern technology. The educational impact of this is obvious. Add to that, the district spends nearly $1 million per year on portables to simply meet the growth demands of the district.

Once considered temporary, portable classrooms have become permanent fixtures at our schools. We need to provide our children with the best learning environment. That’s why we need to Vote Yes – to raise $125 million to build and renovate eight elementary and middle schools and have the schools our community needs.
